Oris' penchant for combining interesting complications with their sports tool watches finds a cool manifestation in this Big Crown ProPilot Alarm Limited Edition.
Why we love it
Oris, known for their practical tool watches, does not shy away from incorporating new complications to their celebrated watches.
Introduced at Baselworld 2018, this Oris Big Crown ProPilot Alarm Limited Edition showcases a mechanical 12-hour alarm function. This is indicated by a yellow-tipped central hand that points to an inner ring, allowing you to see when the alarm is set to go off. The alarm can be adjusted in 10-minute increments using the crown located between the three and four o'clock positions. In addition to the alarm, this watch features a date function, displayed through a black disc with a yellow marker that is visible through a window on the dial. The 44mm case is crafted from stainless steel, and the watch is limited to just 250 pieces.
The Oris Big Crown ProPilot Alarm Limited Edition is powered by the Oris calibre 910 movement, which is based on the La-Joux-Perret 5800 movement. Generating a reserve of 45 hours, this automatic-winding calibre includes a mechanical alarm, three central hands, and a date function.
This Oris Big Crown ProPilot Alarm Limited 01 910 7745 4084 has no scratches. However, the leather strap is in satisfactory form. Overall, the watch is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
