This Luminor Due brings all the signature elements of the iconic Luminor but in a refreshingly slimmer profile. And this one is a special IPL Edition from 2023!
Why we love it
After teaming up with MS Dhoni in 2020, Panerai scored another win with their collaboration with the IPL in 2023. This limited edition Panerai was exclusively presented to the team players who reached the 16th IPL Cricket 2023 final. The caseback bears engravings of the IPL logo, the year 2023, and the limited edition number. This one is Y0450/1500. This IPL collaboration lets the brand showcase its design sensibilities and opens its door to a new segment of cricket fans.
Panerai answered the call for a dress watch imbued in the signature Panerai charm with Luminor Due. It's a collection that takes the iconic personality of the house's most coveted collection and modifies it into an elegant, slimmer timepiece that could work comfortably under a sleeve's cuff. Reference PAM01250's 42mm stainless steel case looks great on the wrist with its clean lines, polished finish and cushion shape. In a similar vein, the dial comes kitted with luminous markers and hands. A luminous sub-dial at nine and a date window at three furnish high usability while retaining a balanced, legible character.
Inside the solid caseback is the calibre P.900. This automatic movement is assembled with 23 jewels, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and one barrel. Three days of power reserve ensures when you put on the watch again after a long weekend, it'll still be working efficiently. Overall, this Panerai Luminor Due is a handsome, subtle timepiece that delivers style and function in spades.
This Panerai Luminor Due PAM01250 has marks on the case and caseback. The bezel and clasp have nicks as well. The leather strap is in satisfactory form.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
