Experience the perfect balance of strength and style with the Panerai Luminor, where signature elements redefine classic watch design.
Why we love it
The Panerai Luminor stands as an icon of Italian design and Swiss watchmaking, embodying the heritage and craftsmanship that have defined Panerai since their beginnings. The Luminor collection, introduced in 1950, continues this legacy, blending robust functionality with refined design. A key feature of this timepiece is the patented crown-protecting lever to enhance water resistance and durability. With its cushion-shaped case and minimalist dial, the design of this watch is instantly recognisable. The sandwich dial, a hallmark of Panerai, enhances legibility with its layered construction and luminescent markers, ensuring optimal visibility in low-light conditions.
Measuring a substantial 44mm, the Luminor’s stainless steel case is polished for a sleek finish, while the brushed crown protector adds a rugged touch. Its bold design is complemented by luminescent-filled hands and Arabic numerals, creating a clean and easily readable dial. The watch’s domed sapphire crystal is treated with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring clarity in all lighting conditions.
Equipped with the hand-wound Panerai calibre OP X, this watch offers a power reserve of 56 hours. This movement features a swan’s neck regulator and a beautifully decorated Côtes de Genève finish on the bridges. Whether paired with a leather or rubber strap, this watch exemplifies the perfect balance between form and function, making it a favourite among both collectors and enthusiasts.
This Panerai Luminor PAM00112 features light scratches on the crystal, case, and caseback, with scuffs visible on the clasp. The strap also displays noticeable signs of use.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
