A classy, hefty GMT watch packed with unmistakable Panerai features and a cool look.
Why we love it
Panerai's expertise in the art of bringing the best of form and function is best manifested in this Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Ceramica PAM00441. Versatile and packed with handy features, this reference is a good-looking, utilitarian timepiece that appeases new and seasoned collectors alike. Its case carries a predictable heft with a scratch-resistant ceramic body elevated by slender lugs and a crown guard. The smooth finish on the case adds a dressy look to this otherwise sporty watch.
The dial brings a fine vision of horology where hour markers and skeletonised hands are outfitted with luminous material for heightened legibility. A small seconds sub-dial sits at nine o'clock, and a date window is positioned at three. In addition, a GMT feature further elevates the functionality of the watch. An arrow-shaped GMT hand make this Luminor a compelling travel timepiece.
Calibre P.9001 that drives this Panerai watch is an automatic movement. It beats at a frequency of 28,800bph and guarantees a power reserve of three days. While the recognisable aesthetics give this timepiece a luxe appeal, the 100 metres of water resistance and GMT function ensure high utility. Best of both worlds, we say!
Please note this Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Ceramica PAM00441 shows noticeable scratches on the buckle, and its leather strap is visibly soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
