Luminor Marina - a classic Panerai with a distinctive, modern twist. Its uncluttered look and a high-precision mechanism make it a superlative pick for everyday wear.
Why we love it
Panerai watches epitomise watchmaking codes of precision, legibility, and style. This Luminor Marina is true to the technical and aesthetic principles of a classic Panerai. With distinguishing elements like the cushion-shaped case and the crown-protecting bridge, this reference PAM00631 promises an opulent, unmistakable presence on the wrist.
44mm in diameter, the 100-metre water-resistant case of PAM00631 is worked up in stainless steel with a fixed bezel, a solid engraved caseback, and the iconic crown. But where the case carries a characteristic look, the dial has gone a bit against the grain to add a refreshing twist. Forgoing the sandwich style, the black dial carries a simple look with luminous indexes and Arabic numerals markers, luminous hands, and a seconds subdial at nine o'clock. The unique element that elevates the entire appearance of the dial is the Panerai logo above six o'clock.
Powering this reference PAM00631 is a manual winding movement - calibre OP II - based on ETA 6497-1. It is constructed using 17 jewels and provides a minimum of 56 hours of power reserve. An amazing entry-level Panerai, this Luminor Marina is a standout timepiece that delivers style and functionality in spades.
This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM00631 has light scratches on the case and caseback. It is equipped with a non-branded leather strap which is slightly soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
