This Panerai Luminor Marina will quickly earn the pride of place in your collection on account of its distinct aesthetics.
Why we love it
With a watch catalogue that's one part evolving and one part constant, Panerai channels the best of watchmaking in its sturdy, hefty creations. The mechanisms powering the Panerai watches have been enhanced with time thanks to the development of in-house movements. The design, however, has displayed a steady, recognisable identity all along. This merger of contrasts makes Panerai timepieces highly covetable.
Luminor, one of the most popular collections by the brand, is loved for its dominating design, elevated by signature aesthetics and reliable engineering. This reference PAM00722 has an instantly recognisable look with the characteristic cushion-shaped case and the crown-protecting bridge.
It is a 42mm watch, comparatively smaller than the usual 44 to 47mm Panerai watches, offering patrons with slender wrists something to rejoice. The black dial features a distinct sandwich style with a date window at three o'clock and a seconds sub-dial at nine. The black face of the dial is stationed upon a lume-filled disc making the hour indexes and Arabic numerals shine bright under the water or at nighttime.
Calibre P.9010, the in-house, self-winding movement, drives this Luminor Marina effectively with a power reserve of three days. 100 metre water-resistant, this exquisite watch best represents practical luxury. What a joyful oxymoron!
This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM00722 has minor nicks on the case and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have scuffs too.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
