Panerai Luminor Marina rocks a robust and masculine demeanour, making a dominant presence on your wrist.
Why we love it
Drawing inspiration from the illustrious legacy of Panerai, the Luminor Marina watch pays homage to the iconic 1950 case designed for the Italian Navy's underwater commandos. Despite its modest 44mm size, the watch commands a significant presence on the wrist, echoing the rugged elegance of its predecessor. Crafted from lightweight titanium with a brushed finish, the case exudes durability and sophistication, while retaining the timeless appeal of the original Luminor design. The warm brown dial, accented with a classic blue hue reminiscent of the ocean depths, adds a touch of maritime heritage to the timepiece. Enhanced by the sandwich dial construction, the Arabic numeral and index markers glow with luminous intensity. Secured with a brown leather strap, the Luminor Marina exudes understated luxury and versatility.
Beneath the surface, the Luminor Marina PAM01351 houses the impressive automatic mechanical P.9010 calibre. Renowned for its precision and reliability, this new movement boasts a slim profile of just 6mm, surpassing its predecessor, the P.9000 calibre, in terms of thinness. Despite its slender dimensions, the P.9010 calibre delivers exceptional performance, offering a generous three-day power reserve and operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the movement ensures smooth and accurate timekeeping, embodying the spirit of innovation and excellence synonymous with Panerai.
What you should know
This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01351 has minor nicks on the case. The leather strap is in satisfactory form. Yet, the watch is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
