This Panerai Radiomir offers a versatile travelling partner with inimitable watchmaking excellence.
Why we love it
Harnessing the pragmatism of the house's earliest military watches from the 1930s, the avant-garde Radiomir offers a substantial presence on the wrist and immense wearing comfort at once. It breaks away from the signature Panerai look on account of a few elements. It's the only Panerai watch not to come with the notable crown guard and locking mechanism. In addition, Radiomir watches come with options in lug style. While some have the characteristic integrated lugs, others come with spring bars or wire lugs, as this reference PAM00323.
Panerai Radiomir PAM00323 is in no way a subtle watch. With the 47mm cushion-shaped case, this watch just cannot be ignored. The fine polishing and the smooth bezel create an overall impression of sophistication but without being dominating, allowing the timepiece to be worn for any occasion. The dial adds a soupcon of the signature Panerai design trope with the recognisable sandwich configuration. At three o'clock, a tone-tone dial date window is placed, whereas at nine sits a running seconds sub-dial integrated with a day-night indicator. This leads us to the GMT function. This Radiomir is also equipped with an arrow-tipped central hand for the second time zone function. Lastly, at six o'clock lies a power reserve indicator marking a whopping 10-day power reserve facilitated by the three-barrel calibre P.2003/6. This in-house automatic movement comes with a beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and is composed of 290 components and 25 jewels. The elegant brushed finish on the movement is open for admiration through the exhibition caseback.
What you should know
With a well-maintained case and a new leather strap, this Panerai Radiomir PAM00323 boasts very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
