A stealthy black Panerai with an impressive ceramic form and indisputable allure.
Why we love it
It's always exciting to see your favourite timepiece in a new look. Hence, when Panerai released this Radiomir Ceramica in 2011, the watch garnered instant recognition. The use of high-tech ceramic combined with a stealthy black look renders this reference PAM00384 a through-and-through charmer.
Cushion-shaped and featuring signature wired lugs, this Radiomir Ceramica is housed in a 45mm case topped by a notable crown. Radiomir is the only timepiece in Panerai's trove that comes sans the iconic crown guard and locking mechanism. Therefore, this PAM00384 carries a more streamlined and clean profile, enhanced by a complementing black dial.
Slim hour indices and Arabic numerals are filled with a layer of special ecru Super-LumiNova, as do the stick hands, while a tone-on-tone date aperture offers value at three o'clock. Further, the watch features a more conventional small seconds sub-register at nine. A unique linear power reserve indicator calls dibs at six o'clock showing calibre P.2002/3's whopping eight days of power autonomy.
The manual-winding movement, developed in-house, comes kitted with 225 components, 21 jewels and three barrels. It was the first movement of the P.2000 series marking the year since Panerai started producing calibres developed entirely in the house's manufacture in Neuchatel.
This Panerai Radiomir PAM00384 is in fair pre-owned condition with no scratches on the case. Please note the black leather strap is slightly soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
