Dazzle the crowd with this Perrelet Turbine that creates a stunning visual spectacle on the wrist with its unique dial design.
Why we love it
Perrelet's aesthetical codes have become one of the brand's most significant signatures. Its turbine design is meant to catch attention with its bold configuration, charming colour combinations, and exciting layouts. A rather dramatic character describes every Perrelet Turbine watch, including this Turbine XL.
It features a stainless steel case that measures a notable 48mm wide. Fixed upon it is the polished bezel with claws that add to the watch's overall bold appeal. The case-bands carry a knurled profile, while the crown is characteristically integrated into the case. Another characteristic design element of the maison that finds pride of place on this model is the substantially sized lugs that stand out and hold the rubber strap most comfortably on the wrist. Overall, the maison has ensured that the case of this Turbine XL is as engaging and noteworthy as the watch's lodestone, its dial.
The dial is all about inducing visual intrigue. The turbine that rotates freely, ensuring the visual spectacle never stops on the wrist, is a black-coloured 12-blade wheel atop a green background. To warrant an unobstructed view of the turbine, all the time-telling details are narrowed to the flange that holds both minute and hour scales. The declarations of the mechanism and the brand name are clean and subtle.
Visible through the caseback, the movement used here is the calibre P-181 Double Rotor. It is self-winding, has 21 jewels, an operating speed of 28,800bph, and 40 hours of power reserve. The decorations are as striking as every other detail on this timepiece, featuring circular graining and Cotes de Geneve motifs.
Except for a few light nicks on the case-bands, this Perrelet Turbine XL shows very good pre-owned condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
