Exuding a quintessential Rolex look, this Air-King promises an outstanding design and impeccable performance.
Why we love it
Rolex certainly knows well how to develop timepieces that can transcend seasons with their timeless look and appease even the most discerning watch enthusiast with its unparalleled watchmaking. Here’s a proof of the same — the Rolex Air-King. If you like your Rolex with a touch of colour and some extra character without forgoing the understated house aesthetics, then this watch is for you. This reference 14010 was produced during the 1990s and early 2000s. Its most stunning element is the signature engine turned bezel.
As for the construction, this Air-King is a fully-armed, robust timepiece with impressive design elements. Measuring 34mm, this reference stands out on the wrist with its subtle yet elegant presence. The streamlined stainless steel body with well-formed lugs and crown further add to its luxurious mien. The salmon-hued dial carries the signature configuration of hour markers at three, six, and nine o’clock positions in bold Arabic numerals along with luminous indexes. Worth noting is the attention to detail on the dial. Rolex calibre 3000 is a self-winding movement that powers this Air-King.
What you should know
Please note this Rolex Air-King 14010M shows light dents on the sapphire crystal glass. There are a few visible scratches on the case, caseback, bracelet, and clasp.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
