When the race tracks call, Rolex answers with its most sought-after and desirable timepiece - the Cosmograph Daytona - a purpose-driven, handsome sports watch.
Why we love it
Rolex Daytona is clearly the king of motorsports watches. One of the most sought-after and difficult-to-attain Rolex timepieces ever, Daytona enjoys unparalleled love from connoisseurs around the world. It comes equipped with requisite racing elements together with high precision and luxe details, making it a quintessential Rolex.
This impressive Cosmograph Daytona reference 116520 is a discontinued model manufactured between 2000 and 2016. Its stainless steel case is moderately sized at 40mm and features a tachymeter scale to measure the speed up to 400kph on the steel bezel as well. The luminous hour markers inject even more functionality, and the deletion of the date window allows better legibility. An impressive level of depth is achieved on the dial via the aesthetically designed sub-counters at three, six, and nine o'clock. Complementing slender hands complete this gem.
Under the hood, the automatic calibre 4130 ensures accurate timekeeping both on and off the track. With a staggering 72 hours of power reserve and 100 metres of water resistance, this Cosmograph Daytona is a reliable tool watch that will match your racing suit as perfectly as your blazer.
This Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116520 has light nicks on the case and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have scuffs too.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
