At once sharp and elegant, this Rolex Datejust with a glistening blue dial and fine construction is made for work huddles and evening soirees alike.
Why we love it
Datejust is a watchmaking legend from Rolex. Since its launch in 1945, this watch collection has evolved progressively while maintaining its timeless charm and understated elegance.
Contouring the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is a smooth bezel. The bright blue dial of this Datejust 116200 soothes the eyes with its straightforward design and the brushed sunray effect. With raised hour markers on a chapter ring and the Rolex crown at 12 o'clock, the dial exhibits the iconic date aperture at three o'clock reinforced by a Cyclops lens.
It is powered by calibre 3135, an automatic movement with -2/+2 sec/day precision after casing and a power reserve of a healthy 48 hours - ensuring accurate timekeeping for longer periods. In the newer models, calibre 3235 is widely utilised, providing a reserve of a whopping 70 hours.
With an appropriate size, a classic design, and elevated functionality - this Datejust resonates loudly within the realms of fine watchmaking and everyday style.
This Rolex Datejust 116200 has minor scratches on the case and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have nicks too.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
