Rolex Datejust effortlessly marries sophistication with unparalleled precision, making it an ideal watch for all occasions.
Why we love it
Playing with dials has always been Rolex's strong suit. For 2021's edition of Watches and Wonders, the maison released two exciting dial options of Datejust 36 - one with a characterful palm motif and a rich fluted version. This reference here is a two-tone steel and yellow gold model with a unique fluted motif dial and a fluted bezel. Also, with the lush gold hue on the dial, the watch digs deeper into the desire for luxury in a refined dress watch.
On the familiar side of things, this Datejust 126233 is characteristically kitted with a date aperture at three, a Jubilee bracelet, and a 100-metre water-resistant case. The movement powering the timepiece is the popular automatic calibre 3235, which provides 70 hours of reserve. This calibre was first introduced in 2015, and when reference 126233 was released in 2018, it was the first Datejust to come with this superlative chronometer movement.
On the wrist, this Datejust is simultaneously classy and statement. The robust form and reliable mechanism imply an ergonomic attitude, but the Rolesor construction and the luxe dial do what a Datejust is naturally meant to do - be timelessly elegant.
This Rolex Datejust 126233 has scratches on the case, bezel, and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have scuffs too. The watch is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
