Casting a covetable elegant-meets-sporty vibe, this Datejust II is a great route to let your everyday style go on.
Why we love it
Rolex Datejust II is one of those discontinued Rolex models that almost every collector seeks to add to their collection. First introduced in 2009, it was designed as a sportier version of the elegant Datejust. It was the line's first 41mm model, replaced later by Datejust 41 in 2016. In its brief seven years of existence, Datejust II went through a number of iterations, but this reference 116300 remains the most straightforward and sporty of all.
This watch is appropriately simple with a smooth bezel in lieu of a fluted one and a solid caseback. The dial features a similar mien, where refreshing blue-hued Arabic numeral hour markers are juxtaposed against a luminous handset and date window at three o’clock. It is powered by calibre 3136, found in most Datejust II models. This automatic movement runs with a power autonomy of 48 hours. Overall, this elegant as well as sporty timepiece maintains the classic aura of the iconic Datejust, ensuring it can be flaunted effortlessly every day.
What you should know
This Rolex Datejust II 116300 features some minor scratches on the case, bezel, bracelet and clasp. Yet, overall, it boasts a very good pre-owned condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
