Although discontinued, Datejust II holds a strong standing amongst the litany of iconic models that are now available only in the pre-owned market. Its elegant appeal combined with a soupcon of sporty style makes it much sought-after even today. This reference 116333 is a definite crowd-pleaser with all the hallmarks of a textbook Rolex Datejust. Its Rolesor body, rendered in stainless steel and yellow gold, measures 41mm in width. Of course, the characteristic fluted bezel sits atop the case, ensuring a recognisable look.
Much like the case, the dial of this reference is unmistakably Datejust, offering uncompromised legibility. It is housed by index hour markers and slim hands, all filled with luminous material. A coronet logo is positioned at 12 o’clock, while the date window sits characteristically at three.
