Exerting dominance in the pre-owned watch market, this Rolex Datejust II stands as the most sought-after timepiece for watch enthusiasts.
Why we love it
A rendition of the highly successful Rolex Datejust crafted for enthusiasts of all things sporty, the Datejust II entered the scene to cater to the Rolex loyalists with bigger wrists. Despite being discontinued, it continues to be in demand within the pre-owned market.
Launched in 2009, this Datejust II 116333 is one of the first models to enter Rolex's celebrated repertoire, joining the likes of Daytona, Datejust, Yacht-Master, and more. This sizable dress watch showcases a sturdy Oystersteel and opulent yellow gold construction. It features a white dial bearing luminous index markers and hands, ensuring excellent legibility in the dark. The date window is strategically placed at three o'clock and magnified by a Cyclops lens. The bold and masculine appearance is attributed to the sheer size of it.
Powered by calibre 3136, this Rolex Datejust II generates a reserve of 48 hours. It incorporates a broader mainplate to accommodate the larger date wheel, along with the inclusion of Paraflex shock absorbers.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
