Rolex Deepsea effortlessly marries sophistication with unparalleled precision, making it an ideal watch for all occasions.
Why we love it
The Rolex Deepsea Deep Blue is a remarkable timepiece that exemplifies the pursuit of excellence in engineering and design. Originally released in 2008, this model offers an exceptional water resistance of 3900 metres, positioning it at the forefront of professional dive watches. The watch features a striking blue dial that transitions to black at the lower part, resembling the depths of the ocean and enhancing its nautical theme. This design is complemented by luminous hour markers and hands, ensuring optimal visibility even in low-light conditions. The unidirectional rotatable bezel, crafted from black Cerachrom, is engraved with a 60-minute scale, providing accurate timing during underwater excursions.
A notable aspect of the Deepsea is its helium escape valve, located at nine o'clock, which allows for safe decompression when diving. Powered by Rolex's calibre 3235 movement, it boasts an impressive 70 hour power reserve. The durable Oyster case is protected by a thick sapphire crystal, showcasing the brand's expertise in creating resilient timepieces. The Oyster bracelet, featuring the Rolex Glidelock clasp, ensures both comfort and adaptability, making it suitable for various wrist sizes.

Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
