The appealing amalgamation of recognisable house aesthetics and the high-octane calibre 3132, makes this Rolex Oyster Perpetual a classic by all means.
Why we love it
The timeless elegance of Rolex watches and their innate ability to transcend time and fashion make the brand stand uncontested on the highest echelon of luxury watchmaking. Validating the aforesaid is one of Rolex's popular watches - the Oyster Perpetual.
While today, the brand proffers Oyster Perpetuals in size 28, 31, 34, 36, and 41mm, this size 39mm, discontinued in 2020, is a gem many still want their hands on. This reference 114300 is made from the signature Oyster steel featuring a 100-metre water-resistant case with a Twinlock screw-down crown and an Oyster bracelet secured by an Oysterclasp. The appealing dial in blue comes equipped with hour indexes, the coronet insignia at 12 o'clock, and shapely hands. While the construction exudes a recognisable Rolex charm, the absence of signature elements like the fluted bezel and the date window at three o'clock adds a contemporary touch to this reference.
The automatic calibre 3132 inside the watch is a COSC-certified Rolex movement equipped with the patented Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock protection system. The movement ensures a power reserve of 48 hours. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual is an elegant everyday watch whose charm grows on you gradually, offering a luxurious experience.
This Rolex Oyster Perpetual 114300-BLUIND bears noticeable scratches on the sapphire crystal glass. Also, there are a few nicks on the case, caseback, bracelet, and clasp.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
