The two-tone Rolesor construction looks particularly good on this handsome Sea-Dweller, making sure its presence on your wrist as a Rolex is unmistakable.
Why we love it
Although the portfolio includes two more highly popular aquatically-inclined collections, Sea-Dweller has become quite a cornerstone model for Rolex. Its balanced design sensibility and marine prowess are much celebrated and have led to the emergence of a completely new line of watches - the Deepsea.
This reference 126603 was introduced in 2019 and stands out from its predecessor with its refreshing two-tone look. The case is still 43mm wide and water resistant up to a whopping 1220m, but it's now rendered in stainless steel and yellow gold. Other familiar details include the black unidirectional Cerachrom bezel and a discreet helium escape valve at nine.
The dial also follows the 2017 Sea-Dweller iteration in terms of Cyclops lens over the date aperture and the Chromalight-detailed hour markers and hands. For aesthetical balance, the Sea-Dweller script at six o'clock is yellow in lieu of red to complement the case colour of this reference.
The in-house calibre 3235 provides an accuracy of -2/+2 sec/day. It is equipped with the patented Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. A power reserve of 70 hours makes this movement even more appealing.
This Rolex Sea-Dweller 126603-BLKIND arrives in mint condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
