The Rolex Sky-Dweller redefines what it means to merge elegance with technology for a truly elevated timepiece.
Why we love it
The Rolex Sky-Dweller, introduced in 2012, was initially offered exclusively in gold, making it one of the more luxurious options within the Rolex lineup. Today, the collection includes models like the reference 326933, which features a striking combination of yellow gold and stainless steel. This Rolesor case, measuring 42mm, is one of the larger dress watches from Rolex. Its GMT function displayed through an eccentric ring further adds to the visual appeal while being functional. The case of the watch is adorned with an 18k yellow gold fluted bezel along with a beautiful two-tone Oyster bracelet.
One of the Sky-Dweller's standout features is its annual calendar complication, powered by the in-house calibre 9001 movement. This complication automatically adjusts for months and includes dual time zones, making it particularly useful for frequent travellers.
While there are certainly more complicated watches available, this watch seems rather unique for the brand as Rolex generally focuses on simplicity and functionality in its timepieces. This watch's advanced features and intricate mechanisms mark a notable shift from Rolex's usual design philosophy.
This Rolex Sky-Dweller 326933 has light scratches on the crystal. Yet, it is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
