This Sky-Dweller takes the distinctive Rolex elements and adds exciting novelties to present bold, elevated watchmaking.
Why we love it
Sky-Dweller first blipped onto the radar of Rolex's esteemed collection in 2012. It was an elegant, highly-practical timepiece that derived few cues from the brand's signature aesthetics but was also kitted with exciting novelties. The first update to the line was done in 2017; this reference 326933 was one of those updated models. Initially launched in precious metals only, this reference was Sky-Dweller's foray into more accessible materials. Rendered in signature Rolesor - a combination of stainless steel and gold - this watch measures a notable 42mm. The recognisable fluted bezel interestingly serves as more than an adornment on this watch. On this Rolex Sky-Dweller, the bezel is equipped with a rotatable Ring Command system that assists the screwed-down crown in setting the functions.
Ease of use and elevated practicality are the cynosures on the dial. While luminous indexes and hands execute the primary task of indicating hours and minutes, a central rotating disc with an inverted red triangle carries out the second time zone function. Additionally, while the date aperture at three performs the date function conventionally, an annual calendar marking the months is added to the dial quite unconventionally. Each hour index comes accompanied by a rectangular window to display the current month. The aim was to show all the functions - local time, second time zone, date, and month - together at once. And it has been achieved quite wonderfully by Rolex here.
Powering this Rolex watch is the COSC-certified calibre 9001. This automatic movement comprises the signature Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. It offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
This Rolex Sky-Dweller 326933 is in mint condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
