Dive deeper into elegance and precision with the Rolex Submariner.
Why we love it
Introduced in 1953, the Rolex Submariner quickly became an icon in horology, renowned for its pioneering design and exceptional performance as a dive watch. The 116613LN, released in 2009, builds on this legacy by combining classic elements with modern technological advancements. This two-tone model features a 40mm case crafted from a mix of Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold, offering both durability and visual appeal.
The watch is equipped with a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel, known for its scratch resistance and longevity, and features a unidirectional rotation for precise underwater timekeeping. The glossy black lacquer dial, with high-contrast white text and markers, ensures readability in low-light conditions. The hour markers and hands, made from 18k yellow gold, add a touch of elegance, while the date window at three o'clock is enhanced by the signature Cyclops magnifier for clear visibility.
This Rolex Submariner 116613LN is powered by self-winding mechanical movement 3135. This calibre includes a Parachrom hairspring for enhanced resistance to shocks and temperature variations, ensuring consistent accuracy. As a certified Swiss chronometer, the movement underscores Rolex’s commitment to precise timekeeping.
This Rolex Submariner 116613LN watch is in mint condition with no scratches.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
