Unyielding in design and purpose, the Rolex Submariner suits every adventure, above and below the surface.
Why we love it
Born in 1953, the Submariner was designed during a period when recreational diving was gaining popularity. Over the years, Rolex has continuously refined the Submariner, introducing updates that maintain its core identity while incorporating modern advancements. The introduction of 124060 model in 2020, features a slightly larger 41mm case and is powered by the self-winding calibre 3230.
Despite its origins as a sports watch, the Submariner's versatile design has allowed it to transcend its intended purpose. Its clean lines, simple dial, and robust construction make it suitable not only for underwater adventures but also as a sophisticated accessory for formal occasions. This dual-purpose nature is one of the reasons why the Submariner remains so beloved. Additionally, the Submariner is fitted with a solid Oyster bracelet, featuring an Oysterlock safety clasp and Glidelock extension system. This allows for easy adjustment of the bracelet length making it comfortable to wear over a diving suit or on the wrist.
What you should know
Please note that this Rolex Submariner 124060 has light scratches on the case and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have scuffs too.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
