Something new makes this Submariner Date all the more covetable. Your favourite Rolex with a notable 41mm case and water resistance up to 300 metres.
Why we love it
With so many classic Submariner elements, it isn't easy to decipher at first glance what's really changed in the new Rolex Submariner Date 126610. However, a subtle, almost unnoticeable modification renders this timepiece so much more elegant and aesthetically balanced. In a 2020 update, Rolex expanded the case of its iconic diver watch from the characteristic 40mm to 41 mm. Thanks to the improvement, the case profile of reference 126610 looks so enhanced, the lugs have dwindled to appear slimmer, and it fits well on the wrist without actually looking like a 41 mm piece. Amazing, right?
Levelling the neoteric elements are the typical Submariner details like the green ceramic bezel that rotates in one direction and is marked with 60-minute graduations. The dial, too, features a characteristic design with notable hour markers and hands filled with Chromalight lume for high visibility underwater and a date window at its familiar three o'clock position. The Oystersteel construction with a screw-down crown, an Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock clasp and Glidelock extension system, a solid case back, and 300 metres of water resistance promise unfaltering reliability.
A comparatively new movement, Rolex calibre 3235 beats at the centre of this Submariner Date 126610, outfitted with approximately 70 hours of power reserve capacity. This function-heavy tool watch is a testament to Rolex's commitment to creating and improving relentlessly.
This Rolex Submariner Date 126610LV-BLKIND bears visible scratches on the case and caseback. The bracelet and clasp also show some scuffs.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
