Bridging the gap between form and function, this Rolex Submariner Date in yellow gold exudes opulence with its elegant blue dial.
Why we love it
The iconic Submariner Date is the paradigm of what makes Rolex the king of luxury Swiss watches. Every iteration and update ever produced has been a hit amongst patrons. Perhaps, this is why any discontinued Submariner Date finds pride of place in the pre-owned market, so much so that most of such models appreciate in value over the years than otherwise.
This reference 126618 takes Submariner Date's celebrated legacy a step further. The 41mm case is ideal for multiple wrist sizes and is quite modern with respect to the aesthetic elements on offer. From the ceramic bezel insert to the Oyster bracelet, there is no mistaking this watch for anything but a Rolex. It is powered by an automatic calibre 3235, equipped with a proprietary antimagnetic Parachrom hairspring. It guarantees a power reserve of 70 hours.
But the biggest highlight of this Submariner 126618LB is the electric blue shade that blankets the unidirectional bezel and the dial. This unique colour delivers more than just aesthetic value.
Purchased in 2023, this Rolex submariner Date bears visible nicks on the case and caseback. Its bracelet and clasp also show a few scuffs.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
