With a handsome look, luxurious construction, and superlative mechanism, this Rolex Yacht-Master makes quite an impact.
Why we love it
The Yacht-Master is everything you need in a timepiece in general and from Rolex. It's an aquatic sport watch lined next to the prodigious Submariner in the brand's catalogue, and it champions perfection through details and nuances that are commonly overlooked by patrons who are googly-eyed for the Subs. For this particular reference M268622, the enchantment begins with the very versatile measurement of 37mm that'll suit women as well as men who fancy a more understated watch.
The case is cast in stainless steel and platinum, a combination brand coined Rolesium and is used to create Yacht-Master watches. It has a great finish, a subtle appeal, and is water resistant to 100 metres. The bezel in platinum shows a matte, sand-blasted surface juxtaposed with polished numerals and graduations. It is also meticulously knurled for ease of use. The dial, wreathed in a slate grey hue, shows a balanced aesthetic with the signature sunburst finish, highly luminous hour markers in geometric shapes - triangles, circles, and rectangles, and a date aperture at three.
Inside this Yacht-Master M268622, released at Baselworld 2016, is the COSC-certified Superlative Chronometer 2236. It has the instantaneous date feature and approximately 55 hours of power reserve. Finally, the three-link Oyster bracelet settles most smoothly on the wrist.
This Rolex Yacht-Master M268622, purchased in 2022, promises mint condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
