This Heritage Black Bay Bronze, designed for the Bucherer Blue Edition, carries a familiar design coalesced with impressive contemporary details and upgraded functionality.
Why we love it
Owing its genesis to Tudor's iconic Submariner, Heritage Black Bay was launched in 2012 as a vintage-inspired collection that promises high performance and a quintessential Tudor aesthetic. With time-only watches as well as chronographs, Heritage Black Bay is a wholesome line of sports watches that is as coveted by casual adventurers as by professional sportspeople. In 2017, Tudor collaborated with retailer Bucherer to introduce a new Heritage Black Bay Bronze with a blue dial and bezel for Bucherer's Blue Editions.
This reference M79250BB-0001 is one of those versions of the Heritage Black Bay that take the classic elements of the original design and redefine them with novel details. It is a tasteful model that exudes an air of confident nonchalance. The 43mm case is worked up in bronze. It has a cool look with a contrasting gold-hued scale on the rotating bezel. The dial tells a similar story with luminous markers, Snowflake hands, and neat text set against a blue base.
The calibre powering this Tudor watch is the automatic MT5601. With 70 hours of power reserve and a whopping 200 metres water resistance level, this Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze is a luxurious timepiece that garners high praise for its functionality.
This Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze Blue Special Edition for Bucherer comes with a bronze case that shows natural patina and discolouration. Please note there are a few noticeable scratches on the case and caseback. This men's watch is paired with a non-branded rubber strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
