Dazzling with diamonds, this Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver is a beautiful expression of modern femininity.
Why we love it
The growing preference for androgynous style has seeped into the world of watches as well. Brawny timepieces, once reserved for men, are today finding meaning on women's wrists. And while at a glance, this Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver charmed with diamonds looks like an outright women's watch, its construction and proportions suggest otherwise.
This Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver 8156-180E-3C/22 is a 40mm yellow gold timepiece, substantial in both size and heft. It takes the house's signature Diver design trope forward with a rubber-coated bezel, where a wave-like pattern is punctuated by diamonds. The case extends at 12 and six o'clock to give space to more diamonds meticulously set on metal appendages.
The beauty of the diamonds stretches to the dial in an even more elegant fashion. Several delicate diamonds are strewn sporadically on the black background to mimic a night sky full of stars. The absence of any hour markers aids in creating a coherent personality, while the luminous hands and a petite date aperture at six ensure the watch functionality is intact.
Powering this beautiful ladies - watch is calibre UN-815, a self-winding movement with 42 hours power reserve. Overall, the aesthetical nuances together with ergonomic details, like 100 metres of water resistance, render this timepiece a Ulysse Nardin one can write home about.
Please note this Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver 8156-180E-3C/22 shows scratches on the case, bezel, caseback, and clasp.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
