A singular design and superlative mechanism blended with the quintessential Ulysse Nardin magic! This Marine Torpilleur is designed to enchant.
Why we love it
Inspired by the chronometers used on ships produced by Ulysse Nardin during the 20th century, the Marine Chronometer is an incredible timepiece that aptly represents the maison's boundless creativity and unparalleled craftsmanship. The collection was first introduced in 1996 and the reference here, 1183-310-7M/40, carries the aesthetic charm of the - 96 version most eloquently.
This Ulysse Nardin watch comes with a distinctive 42mm case rendered in high-quality stainless steel and a dial in a white hue. With a power reserve indicator at 12 and seconds sub-dial and a date window at six, the dial entails a legible, vertical configuration that gives the overall watch an unmistakable look. The blue-hued handset and the signature Roman numerals further elevate the dial. Beating inside is the in-house calibre UN-118 that promises high precision and reliability, running at a frequency of 28,800bph with a power reserve of 60 hours. This automatic movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback and is adorned with fine finishes throughout.
This Marine Torpilleur is paired with a comfortable steel bracelet, secured by a butterfly clasp.
This pre-owned Ulysse Nardin watch for men is in excellent condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
