Along with technical capabilities, this Diver Black Sea also boasts endless accessorising potential, achieving more than its watchmaking duties thanks to the bold black look and the contrasting red niceties.
Why we love it
Bold, intriguing, and nothing short of pragmatic, this Ulysse Nardin Diver Black Sea creates a dominating presence and a striking statement when worn on the wrist. Aesthetically pleasing and functional elements underpin what is arguably one of the most dramatic timepieces by the maison. Check out the notably but pleasantly large 45.8mm stainless steel case that cast an ergonomic air via the vulcanised rubber coating throughout. In addition, the screw-down sapphire crystal caseback and knurled crown aid in resisting water up to 200m.
The appealing wave pattern on the unidirectional bezel, dial, and rubber strap cater to design enthusiasts looking to inject a tasteful style into their watch collection. The daring use of red through the markers and hands on the dial causes the watch to feel a little casual. A power reserve indicator finds manifestation at 12 o’clock. The small seconds sub-dial along with the date window are positioned at six. Inside, an automatic calibre UN-26 beats at 28,800 bph and allows the watch to run autonomously for 42 hours.
What you should know
This Ulysse Nardin Diver Black Sea is in great pre-owned condition. Please note that the titanium links on the rubber strap carry some minor scuffs.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
