There is a distinctive allure to every detail of this Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver. With artistic patterns and 200-metre water resistance, we look forward to our next dive with great anticipation!
Why we love it
This Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver is an inventive tool-like sports watch with an unmistakable luxurious approach. The use of precious 18k rose gold and titanium exudes a rugged sophistication that spotlights aesthetics as much as utility. The theme of a diver's watch is conspicuous through a pleasing wave pattern adorned on the characteristic unidirectional bezel, the black rubber strap and the dial.
In addition to the breezy wave motif, the dial is home to luminous index markers and hands. The two counters at 12 and six o'clock are amazingly designed with gold contours and a guilloché centre to further distinguish the look. A date window calls dibs at six o'clock. Overall, the dial is full of interesting artistic details and contemporary touches.
This 200-metre water-resistant Maxi Marine Diver is quite notable with a 45mm case that settles effortlessly on the wrist with the aid of well-shaped lugs. An automatic movement - UN-26 powers it with a Swiss ETA base and a module over it for the other functions. This highly accurate, COSC-certified movement is visible through the exhibition caseback, where a bold Ulysse Nardin signature can be seen beautifully engraved on the rotor.
Please note this Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver 265-90-3/92 bears noticeable scratches on the rose gold links of the rubber strap and clasp. But, the strap's overall condition is satisfactory.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
