With its unique form and creative vision, the UR-120 Space Black leads the future of timekeeping.
Why we love it
The UR-120 Space Black is a reinterpretation of Urwerk's existing UR-110 collection, enhancing the design by aiming for a slimmer, more fluid profile. This watch features a 47mm titanium case combined with a stainless steel bezel, both coated with a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) finish for enhanced durability and an alluring matte finish. Its design incorporates neon yellow accents on the dial, adding a striking contrast against the black backdrop, a hallmark of Urwerk's futuristic aesthetic.
One of the standout features of the UR-120 Space Black is its unique satellite time display. The self-winding calibre UR-20.01 drives the three satellite-bearing planetary gears, each consisting of two cubes that split, rotate, and merge in a mechanical dance to display the hours. When the satellite splits, it takes on a V-shape reminiscent of the 'Vulcan salute' from science fiction, underlining the watch's futuristic and unconventional appeal.
The watch is equipped with articulated lugs that adapt to the wrist for enhanced comfort, and a calf leather strap with an embossed Cordura pattern for a robust, yet refined look. The UR-120 Space Black exemplifies Urwerk's commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and engineering, making it a standout in the haute horlogerie.
This UR-120 Space Black has light scratches on the caseback. The strap of the watch is in good condition with no wear or tear.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
