This special edition Zenith Chromaster Original, made in collaboration with Hodikee, is not only easy on the eyes but also packs a powerful punch!
Why we love it
Hodinkee and Zenith unite once more, this time to unveil a new iteration of the legendary Zenith El Primero. Following the success of the Zenith El Primero Revival G381, the collaboration introduces the Zenith Chronomaster Original Hodinkee Edition. Celebrating an innovative legacy, this limited edition timepiece reimagines the modern chronograph icon with unexpected hues. Born from Hodinkee's admiration for Zenith's 1969 release of the El Primero, the world's first fully integrated automatic chronograph movement, and the vintage-inspired Chronomaster Original line, this collaboration marks a significant milestone.
The Chronomaster Original Hodinkee Edition showcases a late 1960s aesthetic, infused with modernity. This Zenith features a striking matte salmon dial adorned with signature tri-coloured sub-counters in three shades of grey. The iconic red chronograph seconds hand is traded for one in white to harmonise with the dial's tonality. A scale with 1/10th of a second measurement surround the dial. Additionally, a discreet date window is affixed at the 4:30 marker, keeping in line with the original version. Powered by the automatic El Primero 3600, it generates a reserve of 60 hours and vibrates at a high-frequency of 36,000vph. This edition is limited to 300 pieces.

Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
