Zenith yet again pushes the envelope of form and function with this brilliant Defy Classic featuring the reliable Elite automatic movement through the skeletonised dial.
Why we love it
In the world of horology, there are few names to match the brilliance of Zenith. The house has earned an enviable reputation thanks to its elevated, highly-complex movements and excellent craftsmanship. It is common knowledge among patrons that Zenith offers an ideal combination of style and substance, and this Defy Classic warrants the same quite perfectly.
This reference 95.9000.670/78.R782 is an extremely well-made, sporty watch fitted with a skeleton dial that reveals the beating heart of the Elite 670 SK calibre within. The lightweight titanium case, 41mm in diameter, is comfortable and wearable, thanks to Zenith’s supreme craftsmanship. From the elegant brushed finish to the deft construction of the dial, there is no chance of missing this watch when worn on the wrist. The dial carries applied indexes on the blue-hued minute marker scale, a date aperture at six o’clock, and a luminous handset. The automatic movement powering this Zenith watch is assembled with 27 jewels and beats at a 28,800bph frequency. It provides a power reserve of 50 hours.
What you should know
This Zenith Defy Classic is in mint condition with a well-maintained case and rubber strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
